We are a cozy 10-seats counter-only restaurant operated solely by a Japanese chef with his wife in Singapore at Shenton Way, Tanjong Pagar, Marina Bay, Down Town area. During your stay, you feel at home with our Omotenashi, Japanese hospitality in our attended communication both in English and Japanese as if you are in Japan!

We craft and provide customized Sushi experiences for you to enjoy superior quality, value and cultures behind based on your food restrictions and preferences. In fact, 65% of our customers were repeat customers in May 2025.

For your blissful moments, we strive sourcing seasonal fresh materials to feel and taste those gifts of nature directly from Toyosu market, Tokyo and other channels throughout Japan and the region. As Chef Koga is a registered Environment Counceller in Ministry of the Environment in Japan with 30 years of nature guide/interpretation activities, introducing the seasonal fishes/vegetables with explicit backgrounds to you is inseparable part of his sushi.

Types of Service

As an inseparable part of our Sushi business, we provide you, family and your friends a hands-on experience of making Sushi to touch and feel (and taste!) Sushi and culture. Chef Koga has been actively developing and providing nature interpretation and education classes for three decays as a registered nature counselor in the Ministry of the Environment in Japan. We have started the regular open class (max capacity: 5 pax) once a month on the fourth or last Saturday every month, and also please let us know your interest for setting a customized class.

This course is to follow our mission of Sushi KOGA to craft and introduce experiences of Sushi to broad people with happiness together. Importantly this is not an alternative to a fish, but rather reinventing and creating broader “Umai” or Yummy experience of Sushi! 3-day advanced reservation is necessary for preparation.

Perfect food and service. Some of the fish melt in your mouth. Good value for this premium meal. Chef Koga was very knowledgeable about each item which are airflow from Japan.

Highly recommended omakase experience for a first timer! (Winter Omakase Full Course - Gold)Don't judge the simplistic formatting of their menu. Their food was fantastic!This place was a reservation-only for dinner. Reservation system was smooth and fast via the website.Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were greeted warmly by Mr Koga and his wife. It had an intimate and peaceful setting. Something to consider if you are here for a special occasion.They pay alot of attention to details. We were served sake in a handmade sake glass with gold sheet! Clocks with sushi for time😂During our dinner, Mr Koga was patient enough to answer all our questions about the food and how it was prepared. The food he brings in is flown in fresh from various parts of Japan - definitely value for money!His expertise on fishes is respectable. There is a reason for each types of fish he serves and where he procures them from. All of them have their unique tastes. Having been to Japan before, I did not even try this many varieties of sashimi and sushi until i came to Sushi Koga😂Mr Koga was also generous enough to let us try some dishes from his Spring Omakase Menu which is awesome! (Their omakase set changes with the season) Mr Koga even let me try the wasabi leaf he was trying to grow. What a fun dude🙏Overall, we had a memorable experience at Sushi Koga due to their expertise, friendliness and warmth. The food was so delicious that I either gobbled it down too quickly or it melts in my mouth😭. I left filled and satisfied❤We were kept entertained for the entire duration and had many wholesome conversations with Mr Koga about life and passion for fishes and culinary.Wanted to gatekeep this place so badly but I can't let such a good restaurant go away so soon cos I am looking forward to another meal here!!P.s. thank you for holding on to my umbrella! Had a great dinner experience at Sushi Koga! For starters, we had the Yusheng. Koga-san explained the components, including very thinly hand-cut radishes. Indeed, the yusheng texture was very crisp and nice.I tried the sushi only course, the items were delicious and value-for-money. Koga-san was able to replace some of the items to accommodate my prawn & shellfish allergy. Also, really like the taste of the sushi rice/ shari that he prepared.Thank you Koga-san & wife for a wonderful meal!

Amazing omakase by a very warm and lovely Japanese couple. Authentic Omakase experience in the heart of the city. We had a great time here with the chef explaining in detail the ingredients and taking through us through the whole process.

Excellent sushi at an affordable price. Homely hole-in-the-wall feel downtown makes for an easygoing stop in the city centre, and Chef Koga is great for conversation. Innovative appetisers and nice seasonal selections for nigiri are the main highlights.

I finally got to eat chef koga's sushi menu. I've had the chance to taste his handiwork while he was at Kan sushi and was looking forward when he shared that he'll be opening his own place. I really enjoyed his sushi which is not the typical sushi served in most chain-restaurants. Perhaps he was too humble to brag but it was me who spotted unique points of the food items before he proceeded to elaborate on the ingredient's source and his thoughts on including it in. Do come expecting to eat familiar yet different sushi flavors.

  • • We will check availability of seats. Based on your details, we will customize the menu if needed. And then, we reply back to you as soon as possible. During our operating hours, please expect slow responses, but we will attend everyone with our heart from the inquiring phase as our Omotenashi hospitality to you.
  • • If your party size is 6 or more people, please confirm your booking by making a deposit ($50/person). This process needs to be finished at least one day before (For lunch, 2 days before for Omakase Full courses or Otsumami course) your reserved date and time. Ways of the deposit payment are by PayNow or major credit cards (Visa、Mastercard、American Express、China UnionPay) and Apple Pay. We will include payment URL link (QR Code or UEN number for PayNow) in our communications in WhatsApp, Messenger or email.

Terms & Conditions

  • • Reservation only.
  • • Kindly note that no-show, reduction of party size or cancellations within one day (for lunch, within two days for Omakase Full courses or Otsumami Only course) of a reservation will incur a penalty charge per diner as same amount as the ordered menu price per person.
  • • No smoking and no pet in the restaurant by regulations.
  • • If you use perfume, we kindly ask you to use perfume subtly. We would like all our guests to have a great experience, but sometimes this is hindered by excessive perfume use.
  • • Please inform us your food restrictions and preferences when you make your reservation so that we can customize your menu. Late requests may not be accommodated.
  • • Corkage fee is S$ 50+ per 720/750ml bottle of Sake/wine, and S$ 100+ per 750ml bottle of whisky or other hard liquor. We offer a 1-for-1 policy for bringing your own bottle for Sake only of equal volume.

By MRT: 3 Min. Walk from Tanjong Pager MRT Station Exit H.

  • • Take Exit H at Tanjong Pager MRT Station toward Springleaf Tower. You will go through a long walk tunnel with two short down & up escalators along the way toward Exit H.
  • • Take escalator at Exit H up to street floor.
  • • Continue walking along SpringLeaf Tower on your left on Anson Rd till you see McDonald on your left.
  • • Cross Parsi Rd. and walk on Parsi Rd. to pass two buildings till Mistri Rd on your right.
  • • Cross Mistri Rd, and then you see Eon Shenton Building. Turn right and walk along Eon Shenton Building on Mistri Rd.
  • • You will see SUSHI KOGA on your left. It faces directly to Mistri Rd. at ground floor of Eon Shenton (#01-21).
